-Update as at 8 August 2020-

Bonnyrigg Plaza Centre Management was informed on 7 August by the South West Sydney Public Health Unit that a customer who has tested positive for COVID-19 visited the centre. The customer visited on Tuesday 4 August from 9.00am for approximately 1 hour. They spent the majority of their time in Big W and also visited Bonnyrigg Fruit World for a short period.

The South West Sydney Public Health Unit has advised that no one has been identified as a close contact. If anyone was at the centre during this time, please monitor your symptoms and get tested if you are feeling unwell.

The health and safety of our customers, retailers and community remains our highest priority. As per our COVID-safe plan, we completed a thorough deep clean throughout the centre on 7 August. We will continue to focus on maintaining diligent hygiene and safety practices in line with State and Federal Government advice.

Bonnyrigg Fruit World also undertook a deep clean of their store. Big W will be following their business protocol.

Bonnyrigg Plaza is open and trading as we continue to provide essential products and services to our local community.

Together we can minimise the risk by:
– Practising physical distancing of 1.5 metres at all times
– Utilising hand sanitiser stations in the centre and maintaining good hygiene
– Following directions on store limits
– Staying at home if you are feeling unwell

We encourage people to follow the NSW COVID-19 website for further information (https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19) and will provide further updates as available. Thank you to all our customers for your continued support of local business and for helping in keeping our community safe.
